2025-2026 Elections for IEEE OC Chapters and Affinity Groups. Call for Nominations

As we approach the start of 2025, many of the IEEE Orange County Section technical society chapters and affinity groups will be running elections to select the officers for the 2025-2026 years.

The Chapters and Affinity Groups running elections are:

We are pleased to announce these 2025-2026 Elections for technical chapters and affinity groups. Candidate nominations are now being accepted. New nominees with an intention to keep the group fresh and operating smoothly are welcomed and encouraged to apply! We are seeking nominations for the following elected positions:

• Chair
• Vice Chair
• Treasurer
• Secretary

All of these are volunteer positions serving in two-year terms, 2025-2026.

Nominees must be active IEEE members as of 08 Nov 2024 and be of Graduate Student Member, Member, Senior Member, Life Member, or Fellow grade.

The nomination deadline is 22 Nov 2024, at 11:59 PM (PST). After the nomination period, we will announce the slate and have a window for petitions. The Petition timeframe is 23 Nov 2024 to 28 Nov 2024. Subsequently, we will host the elections via an online ballot using vTools Voting. The election timeframe is 30 Nov 2024 to 13 Dec 2024, 11:59 PM. All active members of the Chapter/Affinity Group will receive an email notification once the ballot opens using the IEEE vTools Voting system. Please, vote to support the Chapter or Affinity Group.

Please submit your nomination to the Election Committee Chair via email. With nominations, we ask each candidate to present a short position statement, bio-data, and profile picture (if preferred).
