IEEE @ UCI Senior Celebration Night

Congratulations graduating students!

IEEE @ UCI and IEEE Young Professionals Orange County Affinity Group invited graduating senior students and recent graduates at the University of California, Irvine, to an evening of networking and celebration. The event celebrated the great accomplishment of these students and shared a glimpse of how IEEE can continue to be their professional home as they transition into the next stage of their careers.

On 24 May 2024, the event started with some light networking as the Friday evening wrapped up the week. Alberto Tam Yong shared a presentation on his personal experiences with IEEE and a “brief” (but not-so-brief) overview of what IEEE has to offer. IEEE has a lot of programs and resources, so a speed-run of “IEEE at a Glance” covered the wide and extensive portfolio of IEEE. Then, the open networking portion of the event with catered dinner and light conversations filled the rest of the evening.
