OC Section Chair’s Message

Dear fellow members of the IEEE Orange County Section:

As you know, IEEE is the world’s largest technical society, bringing Members access to the industry’s

most essential technical Information, networking opportunities, career development tools, and many other

benefits.

Thus, your involvement with the activities of this Section and chapters can add strength to your resume’

and make you more competitive within you own organizations. You can gain leadership experience being

active as a chair, vice-chair, treasurer, or secretary, as well as gain knowledge by attending technical

meetings on state-of-the art topics, regularly held by the Section Chapters.

The focus of this Section is the education of the members, and new technical programs will be publicized

in 2015. Our scope is to provide, and partially subsidize, learning events to allow our interested members

to stay current with the fast-changing world of technology.

This is your Section and your website, and we do need and value your inputs and thoughts. Network with

others in the local IEEE member community, participate to the Section’s events, and take ownership of

what IEEE has to offer.
