Celebrating a Milestone for IEEE Computer Society Santa Clara Valley Chapter! 🏆

After five incredible years of leading the IEEE Computer Society Santa Clara Valley Chapter—serving as Vice Chair (2019), Secretary (2021), and Chair (2022–2025)—I am thrilled to see our dedication recognized with the Outstanding Chapter Award 2024 among all other chapters in the world!

This prestigious honor celebrates chapters that deliver a world-class membership experience, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work.

section-chapter-awards_2021 John Swan holds two awards. On the left is the Chapter Chair Special Award, for John’s many years supporting our chapter; with Paul Wesling, he took over an inactive group in 2010 and brought in new programs, and he has been a strong contributor since. On the right is an award to John from the SCV Section Chair. Congratulations! John is now getting involved with the Chicago Section, after his move.
