Global supply chains have experienced disruptions in every industry and these issues are still causing delays in shipping and skyrocketing costs today. The global electronics industry has been acutely affected by huge swings in demand for consumer electronics such as laptop computers for online school classes and people working from home. Shortages in semiconductors due to geopolitics, swings in demand, and poor inventory policies are all contributing factors.
