Nov. 20, 2003: Our speaker was Dr. Ted Van Duzer (UC Berkeley), and the topic of his presentation was ” Application of Unique Superconductor Quantum Phenomena in Electronics”.
Oct. 16, 2003: Our speaker was Mr. George Vendelin, M.S.E.E., B.S.E.E. (Vendelin Engineering), and the topic of his presentation was “Lossless Feedback Amplifier Design”.
Sept. 18, 2003: Our speaker was Dr. Aurangzeb Khan (Cadence), and the topic of his presentation was “Challenges in Achieving First Silicon Success for 10M-Gate SoCs: A Silicon Engineering Perspective”.
Aug. 21, 2003: Our speakers were Dr. Adrian Ong and Dr. Derek K. Shaeffer (both from Big Bear Network), and the topic was “40GHz OC-768 optical transponder in SiGe technology: CDR, 16:4 MUX and 4:1 MUX/CMU”.
Aug. 18 to 29, 2003: An introductory course to analog IC design, from 8:00AM to 12 noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Cogswell College. The course was primarily targeted to those who like to be familiar with the topic.
