Abstract
As we charge full force into an IoT (Internet of Things) world, the problems related to data storage, aggregation, accuracy, privacy, reliability, delivery timeliness, scalability, data management and data protection need to be addressed. We have been dealing with these aspects related to data for a long time, but the IoT world takes it to a whole new level. We need to rethink and design new solutions for new use cases. We’ll lay out the current state of the art for data storage and discuss the unique challenges of data storage for IoT.
