Summary:
Recently many challenging cyber attacks have taken place here in the US and around the world. Some of these attacks such as on the Florida water purification system could have resulted in injury or even worse fatalities. Last week President Biden and the US Department of Energy released a call to action, namely a 100-day plan to take steps to secure the critical infrastructure related to the electric power grid. This presentation shares ideas for a 100-day plan based on the NIST Cyber Security Framework. The presentation shares real working examples and experiences as well as lessons learned in helping secure electric power systems.
