Keynote speaker: Rashmi Char, VP Engineering, Qualcomm Technologies Incorporated

The keynote will focus on the evolution and development of various generations (1G to 5G) of mobile wireless technology and Qualcomm’s role as the trailblazer of this evolution.

Rashmi serves as Vice President of engineering for Qualcomm Technologies Incorporated., and  is a member of Qualcomm’s Women’s Leadership Council and a part of Qualcomm’s Executive Women’s Leadership Development program. She  has a bachelor of engineering Degree in Electronics and Computer Science and a master’s degree in Computer Science from SDSU.

Keynote Speaker: Vicki Mealer-Burke, VP and Chief Diversity Officer, Qualcomm Inc.

As both a product and business leader, Vicki will discuss the importance and relevance of building diverse and inclusive teams in the technology sector.

Vicki is  Qualcomm’s first Chief Diversity Officer. In this role as Vice President & CDO, Vicki brings over 20 years of business and operational leadership experience at Qualcomm. She  is the chairperson of Qualcomm’s Women’s Leadership Council, co-creator of Qualcomm’s Executive Women’s Leadership Development program and is the executive sponsor of eQuality, Qualcomm’s LGBTQ employee network.
