This is the annual IEEE SFBA CTSoc event providing a summary of the latest and unique tech innovations from the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. IEEE SCV WIE AI Summit 2025

Friday, August 29, 2025 at 3:15 PM – 8:00 PM PST

In an era where AI technologies are rapidly transforming industries and redefining possibilities, it is crucial to explore both the innovations driving this change and the responsibilities that come with it.

Our sessions will cover the latest developments in Large Language Models and Foundation Models, exploring efficient fine-tuning, multilingual adaptation, and the role of LLMs as knowledge bases. We will also examine the evolution of AI agents, focusing on autonomous task completion, multi-agent collaboration, and the integration of external knowledge for robust decision-making.

Joining IEEE SCV-WIE

IEEE Women in Engineering affinity group is an active chapter in Santa Clara Valley. We do not require you to be a SCV WIE member to participate in the activities that we organize. However, we do encourage you to become IEEE members and actively volunteer in planning events for WIE, support women at both the professional and student level and share your enthusiasm in science and engineering. WIE membership is available for $25 to IEEE members, and free to IEEE student members.

SCV WIE meets on the third Thursday of the month. Contact Shweta Behere, SCV WIE Chair (sbehere@ieee.org) to join us in these recurring meetings.

We welcome non-IEEE members at our events. Feel free to attend our events and bring your, friends, family and co-workers.

Corporate Partners

Starting from 2014 onwards one of the focus area of the IEEE Santa Clara Valley Women in Engineering group was to increase the collaboration with corporate companies, universities with IEEE chapters and non-profit organizations  in the Bay Area which are supporting  our mission.

We have created IEEE-WIE-Corporate member partnership which supports corporate investment in women pursuing their STEM education. As part of this initiative we started organizing joint events promoting women engineer active in the area of expertise. lMany of these events are sponsored by the IEEE-WIE-Corporate companies.

Since 2015 we have started a collaboration with the Center for Creative Leadership to support develop training for WIE wishing to enter the managerial path.
