Presentation:

Leading a Global Analog IP Semiconductor Company: Cowboy style (slides)
Large SOCs in small silicon geometries keep increasing in analog and mixed-signal content and this trend will continue for the foreseeable future. Ultra-small geometries present extreme challenges for Analog IPs that are robust and can support the high yields required by complex SOCs. Dr. Robinson will discuss these technical challenges as he leads a global team that create innovative Analog IP solutions for demanding tier-one customers. Finally, Dr. Robinson will provide a visionary outlook for the semiconductor Analog IP market in a global economy.

Speaker Bio: Moises E. Robinson, CEO Vidatronic Inc. – Innovation to Power
Moises E. Robinson, Ph.D. received his B.S. and M.S degrees at Texas A&M University in 1989 and 1991 respectively, and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineer at the University of Texas at Austin in 2005.  He has over 20 publications and over 25 patents granted.  He has held senior engineering positions with Xilinx and AMD.  Dr. Robinson has been involved in the Semiconductor IP industry for over 20 years.  He was a Technical Director leading high speed SERDES IP development for RocketChips, a pioneer in high-speeds serial interface IPXilinx purchased RocketChips in 2000 and the RocketChips IP became the foundation for the Xilinx RocketIO interface technology.  In 2010 Dr. Robinson co-founded Vidatronic, a leading provider of Analog, Power Management and RF IP, with special emphasis in very small geometries down to 5nm.
