Author Resources

The Cognitive Nexus focuses on cutting-edge advancements and trends in computer science, technology, and their applications. Submissions should align with the magazine’s mission to inform, inspire, and connect professionals in the field.

Originality: All submissions must be original works that have not been published elsewhere. Authors should provide proper citations for any previously published material referenced in their articles.

Length: Articles typically range from 1,500 to 3,000 words. However, exceptional contributions outside this range may be considered.

Language: Submissions must be in English, written with clarity and precision. Authors are encouraged to use language accessible to a broad audience while maintaining technical accuracy.

Formatting: Manuscripts should be formatted according to the IEEE Computer Society style guide. Use a clear and readable font, and include figures, tables, and equations where necessary. Submissions should be in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format.

Figures and Tables: All figures and tables should be labeled, captioned, and referenced within the text. High-resolution images are preferred. Authors must have the right to use any images or graphics included in their submissions.

References: Cite all sources accurately following IEEE citation style. Include a comprehensive list of references at the end of the manuscript.

Online Submission: Authors should submit their manuscripts through the Cognitive Nexus Magazine online submission system, accessible on the IEEE Computer Society Silicon Valley Section website.

Peer Review: All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Authors can expect constructive feedback to enhance the quality and impact of their work

Copyright: Authors retain the copyright to their work but grant FeedForward Magazine the right to publish and distribute the article. Proper attribution will be given.

Timeline:

– Authors will be notified of the status of their submission within two to three weeks.

– Accepted articles will be scheduled for publication based on editorial and thematic considerations.

 

Acknowledgment:

Authors will be sent an email recognizing their contribution to Feed Forward magazine. Additionally, authors have the option to request a publishing certificate if desired.
