Bio: Tom Walker of Virtual Sphere LLC has extensive education and experience in the software business. He is currently CEO of Virtual Sphere LLC, a technical software and photonics consulting group. Prior to that he was Senior Director of Research and Development at Synopsys Corp, Pasadena. He has also held the position of VP and Software Chief Technical Officer at Optical Research Associates. Tom has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal State Long Beach and is an active member of several industry organizations: IEEE, SPIE, OSA and ACM
