Letter from the Chair

Members, Affiliates, and Community,

We wish to welcome you to the newly established San Francisco Bay Area Computer Society. We are your local chapter of the IEEE Computer Society representing the San Francisco and Oakland East-Bay IEEE Geographic sections. Our goal is to build a new community-of-practice for technologists and researchers in the global center for technology innovation. Over the coming weeks and months keep your eyes out for events ranging from Tech Talks and Lectures to networking events and round tables as we try to build out a community that is built for you.

In the meantime please get into the conversation by joining our Slack Channel and following us on LinkedIn. These streams will be the best way to stay on top of what is happening as we build out this chapter. We are also continuously looking for volunteers to join the chapter’s team.
