Bio:
Brian Lawrence is a software consultant with a long history in the computing industry. His primary focus is teaching and facilitating requirements activities, as well as inspection, project planning, risk management, life cycles, and design specification techniques. Brian has served as the editor of what is now Better Software Magazine, sat on the editorial board of IEEE Software for 5 years, and has chaired conferences. He taught software engineering at the University of California Santa Cruz Extension for over a decade.
