Abstract: The core objective of this presentation is to acquaint technology leaders with an effective framework for crafting a strategic plan anchored in the principles of the business model canvas. Through interactive and hands-on engagement, participants will be empowered to apply this framework to their current or past technology initiatives. The session will provide insights into structuring a compelling pitch deck essential for garnering stakeholder approval and support. The culmination of the talk will feature expert guidance and practical tips for the seamless transformation of the strategic plan into a comprehensive and detailed business blueprint.
Speaker Bio: Sanjai Marimadaiah is a seasoned Executive Product Leader and Growth Strategist with a wealth of experience steering businesses toward substantial revenue growth. With a proven track record in transforming and revitalizing technology companies, he specializes in accelerating the success of B2B SaaS, PaaS, and Enterprise Big Data and AI/ML products. Currently serving as the Founder & Managing Director of Spinnovation LLC, he offers fractional CxO services and provides Business Growth Coaching to Corporate Leaders and Business Owners. His commitment extends to mentorship at startup accelerators, advising startup CEOs, and contributing to the broader tech community.
Known for his unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and sales proficiency, Sanjai has led innovative new business incubation at renowned companies such as HP, CA Technologies, and IBM. He has held C-suite and leadership roles at several successful startups, including Meiosys (acquired by IBM), Diffusion Data (as CPO), Lancium Compute (as CRO), and Pliops (VP of Products).
Sanjai began his career as a systems software engineer at Sun Microsystems, working on the Solaris OS. He holds a B.E in Computer Science from SJCE, Mysore (India), an MBA from Santa Clara University, and has completed graduate studies credits from Stanford via the SITN program.
