Abstract: We will watch this 40-minute video, which describes how AI is revolutionizing engineering management and people development at one company. The talk explores the practical applications of AI for enhancing leadership capabilities, from conducting data-driven one-on-ones to delivering impactful feedback and effective performance reviews. It shows how AI can help identify performance patterns, prepare for difficult conversations, and generate meaningful insights for team development. Real-world examples and hands-on strategies are presented to illustrate the concepts. The presentation explores how combining AI with structured documentation methods can transform our management approaches.

The video is entitled: “Devoxx Greece 2025 – Engineering Management in the AI Era” by Dennis Nerush who is Director of AI Engineering at Elementor, with over 15 years of experience in development, management, and engineering leadership.

After watching the video, we will discuss how we think and feel about its contents. Join us to share your thoughts on how to use AI in engineering management. The goal is for us to walk away with actionable techniques to leverage AI in developing stronger engineering teams while maintaining authentic human connections.
