Bio: Anup has been an Agile Evangelist in the Bay Area for the last decade. He has been instrumental in Agile Transformations at the enterprise level and has over 20 years of portfolio and program management experience in the Software Industry. He has served at the board of PMI Silicon Valley Chapter for 5+ years and has led the chapter as a President & CEO in 2012. As a President Emeritus, he currently volunteers as the Advisor to the President for last two years. He also serves in the Agile Advisory Board and teaches at UC-Berkeley Extension as an Adjunct Faculty for wide variety of Agile and Project Management certificate courses.
He is the founder and an organizer of a meetup — Silicon Valley Agile Trends and Leadership — that has over 1200 active members and attracts 130+ professionals on amonthly basis.
He is currently employed at Visa as a Sr. Director of Program and Portfolio Management for one of the world’s largest Online Payments Platform and has tremendous energy to drive audacious goals for the company. Prior to this, he has worked at various companies including Yahoo where he has driven multiple high-priority cross-organizational goals to successful completion.
