About Us
Santa Clara Valley is the largest IEEE Section in the world in terms of membership and the number of active chapters.
As the Santa Clara Valley Chapter* of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society, we are the Management Club for Silicon Valley technologists and engineers, dedicated to serving the high-tech knowledge workers who wish to advance their careers by improving their leadership skills and management effectiveness.
We organize regular meetings to provide opportunity for professional networking, and stimulate discussion and interaction among engineers at all levels of seniority, with invited speakers from a mix of research and industry to share their management expertise and practical experience, and provide useful insights into the science and art of managing technology and innovation.
* Actually, we are the Santa Clara Valley / Oakland-East Bay / San Francisco Joint Chapter (also known as the Silicon Valley Chapter).
