Bio:
Gale Stafford is a management advisor, and founder of the Talent Formula Consulting Group. He has helped a wide array of management professionals, executives and technical teams to attain higher levels of performance at work using clever, state-of-the-art approaches. At the University of Illinois, he co-founded a groundbreaking IT Manager Development Program that set a new standard for excellence in management. He also co-led the introduction and adoption of new methods to improve performance in the University’s central information technology function, moving teams from traditional waterfall methods over to agile methods for software development. Gale holds a Masters degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. His most recent book, “The Talent Formula: How to Engage People, Improve Teamwork, and Elevate Performance Using the New Science of Management”, weaves together research on team performance, leadership effectiveness, management science, along with practical experience he gained managing teams, coaching management professionals, and leading organizational change efforts.
