Kristin Allen is the Program Manager for San Francisco International Airport’s (SFO’s) $2.5B Harvey Milk Terminal 1 Reconstruction Program. The Program consists of five major capital improvement projects. She is solely responsible for managing the Program with a focus on elevating the guest experience and maximizing operational efficiencies, while providing facilities that are socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable. Prior to managing the Terminal 1 Program, Kristin managed SFO’s civil engineering department consisting of over 20 professional and technical engineers and was ultimately responsible for SFO’s airfield improvements. In 2014, Kristin successfully delivered the Runway Safety Area Project which placed Engineered Material Arresting Systems (EMAS) at the ends of two of SFO’s four runways. The project won multiple awards, including an award for excellence in Partnering. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Civil Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
Susan Iverson is a Civil Engineer and holds a MS of Engineering, and an MBA. Susan spent close to 20 years in construction and construction management working for various general contractors on local Bay Area projects including schools, courthouses, airports, a major spaceship shaped corporate campus, and high-tech data-centers through the US and Europe. Oversite and management ranged from architect and engineering design teams, to field contractors, to major electrical and mechanical suppliers. Currently she works in procurement for date center construction for Facebook, working with cross functioning teams in engineering, construction, facility management and capacity planning. As a grandmother to two 10-year-old twin boys, she has the typical grandmotherly pursuits. Susan enjoys pottery, quilting, baking, making chocolate confections, running (does not actually enjoy that!), scuba diving, drinking whiskey, riding her motorcycle, and wine blogging.
Leslie Batto currently works as a Technical Recruiter for Avast, a leading Cybersecurity company in the Bay Area. At Avast, Leslie has had several roles including building the Network Operations Center from the ground up and managing the team for 3+ years. She then moved on to become a Technical Program Manager where she maintained the production environment for several projects and managed all the communications on an Operational level. When Leslie’s not looking for top talent, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, cooking, dancing, and riding her motorcycle!
