“There are very few times during the year when membership is discounted.  IEEE Day is one of those days. During the annual commemoration of the first time engineers met to share ideas and lay the framework for what was to become the modern IEEE, new higher grade members and higher grade members rejoining after more than a two year absence receive a $30 discount!
