Coding Adventure Workshop – Day 1
[] Join us for two exciting days of hands-on coding, creativity, and fun! Students will learn the basics of programming, design their own games, and even build a console to play them. π‘ Who Can Join: 20β30 students (Grades 6β8) π» Bring Your Own Computer π Food Provided: Pizza & Water Location: Kaimuki Middle School Library (631 18th Ave, Honolulu 96816 - Entrance on Kilauea Ave) π Class Day 1 β November 4 (5:00 β 7:00 PM) π― Topics: - Introduction to Scratch (1 hour) - Dinosaur Game Programming (1 hour) - π End of class: Announcement of the Design Competition and Prizes π Class Day 2 β November 7 (5:00 β 7:00 PM) π― Topics: - Design and build a console that connects to a computer to play the Dinosaur game - π Competition Time: IEEE Volunteers will review all submissions, score them, and select the Top 3 Designs! - Each winner will receive a $30 Amazon Gift Card! π Letβs code, create, and have fun together!
