| 📅 The IEEE Hawaii Section will be holding its monthly Executive Committee (ExCom) meeting on Wednesday, October 1st from 6:30-7:30pm. The meeting will be held at Hawaii Pacific University Aloha Tower Marketplace Multipurpose Room 1, with an online option available via WebEx. Dinner will be provided for $10 per person. Please give cash to Matt Sahara on the day of. Students do not need to bring payment. IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) First Student-Run Tutoring Program |
| The IEEE Hawaii Joint EDS/SSCS chapter celebrates its first cohort of the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) student-run tutoring program which ran during the Fall 2024 to Spring 2025 terms. Volunteer tutors received an SSCS T-shirt and one year of IEEE and SSCS society membership. Tutors provided free office hours for ECE undergraduate courses through the University of Hawaii at Manoa HKN chapter. Tutoring Program Participants include: Vikas Shukla, Deolian Domawa, Kristine Joyce Locquiao, Jenny Brown, Dante Rael, Milan Bukovics, Andrea Murillo Martinez. | | |

| | VEX Robotics Tournament at Kaimuki Middle School |
| Kaimuki Middle School’s VEX Robotics Team 4400 will be hosting a local qualifying ADC tournament and is seeking 12 adult volunteers from any career field to serve as interview judges. Each judge will be paired with another and provided a set of questions to ask participating middle and high school teams. The opportunity offers a meaningful way to connect with students, encourage future innovators, and support STEM education—no robotics or drone experience required!
