| 📅 The IEEE Hawaii Section will be holding its monthly Executive Committee (ExCom) meeting on Wednesday, November 5 from 6:30-7:30pm. The meeting will be held at Hawaii Pacific University Aloha Tower Marketplace Multipurpose Room 1, with an online option available via WebEx. Dinner will be provided for $10 per person. Please give cash to Matt Sahara on the day of. Students do not need to bring payment. Include dietary restrictions in "Special Requests" when registering. | On October 7, 2025, the IEEE Hawaii Section gathered at Dave & Buster’s Ala Moana to celebrate IEEE Day, honoring engineers, innovators, and technologists who advance technology for humanity. Members and guests came together for an evening of networking, camaraderie, and fun in recognition of the global IEEE community. |  | | | On October 14, 2025, the IEEE Hawai‘i Power & Energy Society (PES) Chapter held a successful West O‘ahu Solar Tour, in partnership with AES Hawai‘i, offering attendees an up-close look at the island’s evolving solar + storage landscape. The event brought together engineers, students, community members, and renewable energy advocates for a guided tour of West O‘ahu’s solar installations and battery systems. |  |

Girl Powered STEM Workshop at Kaimuki Middle School |
| IEEE Hawaii Women in Engineering and IEEE Hawaii Power and Energy Society Chapter were thrilled to take part in the Girl Powered STEM Workshop at Kaimuki Middle School on October 18, 2025. This inspiring outreach event brought together over 50 student participants, all eager to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and robotics. IEEE members were proud to join and support the students, sharing insights on engineering careers and encouraging continued exploration in STEM fields. |  |

| | | | | VEX Robotics Tournament at Kaimuki Middle School |
| Kaimuki Middle School’s VEX Robotics Team 4400 will be hosting a local qualifying ADC tournament and is seeking 12 adult volunteers from any career field to serve as interview judges. Each judge will be paired with another and provided a set of questions to ask participating middle and high school teams. The opportunity offers a meaningful way to connect with students, encourage future innovators, and support STEM education—no robotics or drone experience required!
