Entrepreneurship for Engineers: Turn Your Innovation into an Impact Business |
| Aloha, Engineers of Hawai'i! Are you ready to transform your technical expertise into a thriving business that can make a real difference in our islands, mainland, and beyond? Introducing Entrepreneurship for Engineers—a four-part course designed to help you explore entrepreneurial opportunities, develop essential business skills, and turn your innovative ideas into successful ventures. Our approach is especially relevant to complex, high-value solutions. These solutions could be hardware, software, a service (XaaS), or a professional service (consulting). The differences between these delivery models are more minor than most people realize. Explore the value of your solution. There are many business options for delivering a solution. Many profitable business models do not match the parameters that interest investors. Is there a business model that can deliver your goals? Participants are expected to bring a product concept to explore with the course topics. The consequences of the basic concepts are more concrete with a personal use case. |
| The remaining dates for the course are: 11/12, 11/26, and 12/10. Register for the program using the link below or to request for more information. | |

| Volunteer Call | IEEE Hawaii Life Member Affinity Group is excited to announce a new initiative— RoboticsForAll — designed to make robotics accessible to high school students. The program is centered around three key goals: - Very low cost ($70 which we may be able to give away)
- Robotics for every participant, one per student
- Focus on programming — no game controller
We’re seeking volunteers to help us grow and bring this vision to life! Here are the roles we need: - Coders to build more demos and expand programming options.
- Release engineers to package software and create documentation for students.
- Marketing support to help us reach more students and schools.
- Demos to recruit coaches.
If you're passionate about robotics, coding, or education, we’d love to have you on board! Join us and help empower the next generation through RoboticsForAll! Contact: eugene.chang@ieee.org for more information. | |
